The event dedicated to the 25-th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan was held at UNEC.

The pro-rector for Science and Innovations of  UNEC, the professor Sakit Yaqubov noted that, there were strong economic and political relations between the two countries. He emphasized the importance of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.

The Charge d’Affaires of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Azerbaijan Bakit Yusupov made the presentation on ther topic “The Foreign policy of Kyrgyzstan”.  He told the UNEC students that, the Azerbaijan and Kyrgyz people are closely linked to each other in terms of history, language, religion and cultural values. Noting that, about 20 thousand Azerbaijanis lived in Kyrgyzstan, B.Yusupov spoke about the development of economic, political and cultural relations between the two countries. The diplomat stressed that, his country supported the fair position of Azerbaijan in the Armenian-Azerbijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The documentary about the geography, rich history, development, culture, nature, economy and education of Kyrgyzstan was demonstrated at the event.     At the end of the event, the Charge d’Affaires answering the questions of the students, highly appreciated  the intellectual level of the UNEC students and expressed his satisfaction  with acquiantance with them.
