Dr. of Econ.Scien.., prof. Gasimov Natiq Abulfaz oglu
He was born on March 19, 1960 in Baku.
In 1982 he graduated from the Economics Faculty of the Azerbaijan Academy of Agriculture with honors.
In 1992 he graduated from Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, (correspondence) with honors.
In 1982-1989 he worked as a junior and senior scientific worker at Azerbaijan Scientific Research Institute of Agricultural Economics.
In 1986 he defended his thesis at the Institute of Economics of ANAS, and the same year was awarded the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences by the Higher Attestation Commission.
1989-1993 – he was deputy chairman of the Union of Economists of Azerbaijan.
In 1993-1995 he was the director of the Scientific Research Institute “Azeryeyintisenaye”.
In 1992 he was awarded the title of associate professor and in 2004 he was awarded the title of professor by the Higher Attestation Commission.
From 1995 to 1997 he was the first Deputy Chief of the General Directorate at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 1998 he defended his doctoral thesis and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Economics.
In 2000 he was elected a full member of the International Union of Economists.
From 1997 to 2000, he was director of the Scientific-Research and Training Center for Labor and Social Problems. 2000-2002 – First Deputy Chief of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Taxes of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On January 17, 2002, he was appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Taxes by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He served in this position until April 2010.
In 2005 he was elected a full member of the International Academy of Management.
In 2005-2010, he worked as an expert on economics of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 2005, by order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, N.A Gasimov was awarded the rank of State Tax Counselor of the third class.
In 2010 he was a professor at the department of” Economics and Organization of Labor” and in 2019 at the department of “Social Development Economics and Assessment” of Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
He was the organizer of 4 international conferences and 5 national scientific-practical conferences.
Published more than 115 scientific works, including 14 monographs and books in different languages.
He is married, has two children and grandchildren.
