ABOUT US
The Center for Economic Studies of the Turkic World was established by the Decision No 159 of the Scientific Council of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics on May 21, 2018 and the UNEC Rector Order 448/3/2018.
According to the order of the rector of UNEC № 363/3/2019 the centre was entrusted to Oktay Guliyev Gulu, associate professor, PhD in Economics of the department of UNEC Business and Economics on public bases.
According to the UNEC rector’s order No. 703/3/2024 dated 01.08.2024, the center is managed on a public basis by the head teacher of the UNEC Department of Economics and Management i.f.d. Akbulayev was entrusted to Nurhoja Nazirhoja oglu.
OUR PURPOSE
We′ll encourage conducting economic and socio-economic research and the use of empirical methods in scientific research. We will provide support to the academic staff and students regarding quality research and access to international bases, and implement research projects within local and international cooperation.
OUR OBJECTIVES:
To carry out scientific research works and projects;
Organization of international and national conferences, symposiums, seminars, round tables, trainings;
Preparation and printing of publications in different languages;
Preparation of reports, brochures, research papers, articles, newsletters, books, etc.
Collaborate with research centers, institutions, universities and private sector representatives both domestically and abroad;
To ensure that the appeals and inquiries on the directions of activity are considered in accordance with the legislation;
To provide realization of the concept of development of the university within its competence;
Preparation of reports of the Center’s work plan and activities;
To provide protection of service information in accordance with the legislation of the center in the course of its activities.
