In 2004 she graduated with honors from Baku State University, Faculty of Biology, and in 2006 with a master’s degree in Microbiology.
In 2006 she entered the full-time postgraduate course of the Institute of Microbiology of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences;
In 2011 she defended her dissertation and received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Biology.
In 2010-2013 she worked at the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS as a junior researcher, researcher and senior researcher.

In 2012, the project “Study of low-temperature biodegradation of oil and oil products by microorganisms isolated from the Azerbaijani shores of the Caspian Sea” won the “1st Grant Competition for Young Scientists and Specialists” announced by the Science Development Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
She is the author of 29 scientific works (thesis, articles, conference materials), including 1 monograph.
From 2013 to 2020 she was a lecturer at the Department of “Food Technology” of tAzerbaijan State University of Economics.
She is currently a senior lecturer at the department of Engineering and Applied Sciences, UNEC.
