Aliyeva Tarana Ilyas
She was born on August 3, 1976 in Goranboy.
In 1982, she entered the first grade of Goranboy secondary school No. 3,
She finished that school in 1992.
In 2000, she graduated with honors from the faculty of Law of Baku State University.
Since 2000, she has been working as a lecturer at the department of Economic Regulation of Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
From 2000 to 2005 she studied at the postgraduate course of the Institute of Philosophy and Law of ANAS.

On November 30, 2016, she defended her thesis on “Testimony of witnesses in criminal proceedings and criminology in Azerbaijan” and received the degree of PhD in Law.
She is the author of 16 (sixteen) scientific articles and 2 (two) curricula.
She is one of the authors of the commentary of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
She has a daughter and a son.
