Elmira Mahammad gizi Gojayeva
She was born on December 11, 1972, in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation.
In 1990 she entered the speciality of “Economist” of the faculty “Accounting” and “Control and Analysis of Economic Activity” of the Baku branch of the Leningrad Institute of Financial Economics named after N.A.Voznesensky. She graduated with honours from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics in 1995.
In 1995, she worked as an economist at the Main Computing Center of the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
In 2004-2010, she worked as a senior researcher at the Azerbaijan Scientific-Research Institute of Agricultural Economics and Organization.
In 2009 she defended her thesis on “Priorities for poverty reduction in rural areas” and in 2011 received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Republic of Azerbaijan. (08.00.05-Economics and management of national economy).
Since 2010, she has worked as a lecturer at the department of Economics at the Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management.
In 2017, she was awarded the title of associate professor by the decision of the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 2018-2021, she worked as the head of the “Marketing” department of the “Business Management” faculty of ATMU.
Since 06.10.2021 she has been working as an associate professor at the “Economics” department of the UNEC Russian School of Economics.
She has presented papers at national and international scientific conferences in connection with her research work. She is the author of 97 scientific works, including 3 textbooks, 1 monograph and 15 programs.
Subjects she teaches:
“Economy of Azerbaijan”, “Microeconomics”, “Macroeconomics”, “International Trade”.
Membership in organizations
November 26, 2018 Member of the organizing committee of the International scientific-practical conference organized by the Academy of Economics named after Tsenova of the Republic of Bulgaria and the University of Economics of Moldova.
Member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal “Information Security in Tourism” of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Member of the Organizing Committee of the International Congress of Scientific Research UBAK Ankara, Turkey on August 20-21, 2021.
