Novruz holiday is celebrated at UNEC with great enthusiasm
A celebration has been held at UNEC on the occasion of Novruz holiday.
At the party organized in the main educational building, Vice-Rector, Associate Professor Shaig Asgarov made a speech and congratulated UNEC teachers, students, and employees on behalf of the university administration on the occasion of Novruz holiday, which is the embodiment of abundance, blessing, and kindness.
Around the holiday bonfire made at the Novruz celebration, students walked dancing yalli and expressed our national unity and solidarity. Kosa and Kechel, the main characters of Novruz, added a special color to the celebration with their interesting performances and festive scenes. Books were donated to Kosa and Kechel, who “threw the hat” to the 24/7 library of UNEC.
Novruz celebration continued with songs glorifying spring and Azerbaijan.
