An Azerbaijani scientist is elected a member of the Russian Academy of Education for the first time

At the 80th anniversary event of the Russian Academy of Education held in Moscow, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor Vagif Bayramov was elected a corresponding member of that academy.
Professor Vagif Bayramov, who worked as the rector of the Moscow State Humanitarian and Economic University from 2006 to 2021, became the first Azerbaijani to be elected a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Education.
He is also a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, a member of the Academy of Humanities.
In 2013, Professor Vagif Bayramov was awarded the second degree “For Services to the Motherland” order, and in 2017, President Ilham Aliyev awarded him the “Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan” for his services in strengthening educational relations between Azerbaijan and Russia.
