The bas-relief of martyr Agil Mirzaliyev was inaugurated
August 27 was the birthday of Agil Mirzaliyev, a graduate of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of UNEC, who was martyred in the Patriotic War. If he had lived, he would have been 23 years old.
Associate Professor Hafis Hajiyev, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, and members of the Student Trade Union Committee visited the martyr’s grave in Shahidler Alley of Ismayilli along with his family members. The visitors honored the memory of the martyr and laid flowers on his grave.
Then, the opening ceremony of the bas-relief was held on the street named after Agil Mirzaliyev, who was heroically martyred in the battles for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
The dean of the faculty, associate professor Hafis Hajiyev, presented the gift specially prepared for the martyr to the martyr’s mother and shared his memories about it.
Agil Mirzaliyev was posthumously awarded the “For the Motherland”, “Brave Warrior”, “For the Liberation of Khojavend”, “For the Liberation of Kalbajar”, “For the Liberation of Fuzuli” medals and the 3rd Class “Order of Bravery” for his bravery in battles. was awarded.
