At the meeting, the parents of the martyr told their memories about their children. They said that Ahmadaga was a very kind and devoted son to his family, and loved his country as much as his family. He emphasized that he is proud of the martyr’s wife, Ahmadaga, and will be proud of the father of his daughter, who is his relic.
Bikakhanim Khuduyeva, the chairperson of the trade union organization of the faculty, pointed out that the names of our martyred graduates will be given to the audience in order to perpetuate the memory of our sons who fought for our land and died in the Patriotic War.
At the meeting, Chairman of UNEC Student Trade Union Committee Rufat Suleymanli presented the Honorary Decree of THIK to the martyr’s family. He said that the dear memory of Ahmadaga Iskendorov will live forever in the hearts of each of us.
Ahmadaga Iskanderov
Ahmadaga Iskenderov was born on September 20, 1989 in Baku. In 1996-2007, he received secondary education at school number 82, N.Narimanov district, Baku city. In 2007, after showing a high result in the entrance exam (614.75 points), he was admitted to the “Management” specialty of the Faculty of Informatics and Management of UNEC. After graduation, he served in active military service in 2011-2012. In 2013, he started working as a Human Resources specialist in one of the country’s leading companies and rose to the position of Head of Human Resources Operations in that company.
On September 21, 2020, he was called to military training by the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and participated in the battles from the first days of the Patriotic War, which began on September 27. He took part in military operations in the Jabrayil-Fuzuli-Hadrut direction. On October 7, he was heroically martyred while performing his duty in the battles for the Fuzuli region.
He was buried in the Kurdakhani cemetery.
After his death, by order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he was awarded the “For the Motherland” and “For the Liberation of Jabrayil” medals.
He was married and had one child.
