October 12 is the commemoration day of Eldar Aliyev, a graduate of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), martyr of the Patriotic War, who was martyred for the freedom of Karabakh.
On the memorial day of Eldar Aliyev, a commemorative plaque was opened in front of his house in Ahmedli settlement. In addition to the family members of the martyr, UNEC vice-rector for Digitalization Ragif Gasimov, professor Dr. Mehmet Yüce, dean of the Faculty of Economics of the Turkic World (TUDİFAK), chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee of UNEC Rufat Süleymanli, deputy deans, head of the Department of Economics and Business Ogtay attended the event. Guliyev and other public representatives participated.
Then the UNEC team visited the martyr’s grave, paid tribute to his dear memory, and laid wreaths and flowers in front of it.
