Applicants from Gabala visit UNEC
The visit of regional schoolchildren to UNEC continues. The guests of UNEC this time were sub-bachelors of Gabala State Vocational Education Center and applicants of Express Education Center.
Meetings were held with applicants from Gabala in the main, 2rd and 3nd academic buildings of UNEC.
During the introduction to the main educational building, Elnara Omarova, the head of the Public Relations Department, gave detailed information to the applicants about UNEC specialties, electronic learning process, dual diploma and exchange programs, special scholarship opportunities, students’ social life, gyms, and libraries.
The dean of the finance and accounting faculty, Hafis Hajiyev, informed the applicants about the specialties and career opportunities in the faculty of which he is the head.
During the meeting, this year’s graduate of UNEC’s International School of Economics, Maleyka Abushova, shared her impressions about the conditions created for students at the university, the examination process, and the effective organization of students’ free time.
Applicants also visited UNEC Psychological Service Centre. The head of the centre, Shafahat Abdullayeva, gave them recommendations on pre-exam stress management.
After getting acquainted with the main educational building, the applicants met with Elman Jafarov, the dean of the Faculty of Digital Economy, in the educational building No. 3 and got acquainted with the conditions created for students there.
Gabala applicants met with associate professor Mansur Barkhudarov, the dean of the Russian Economic School, in educational building No. 2. M. Barkhudarov met with the entrants over tea and informed them about the specialties and teaching process at the faculty.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the Express Education Centre, Rahman Khasmammadov, presented to UNEC the souvenir “Khari bulbul” made by the entrants’ handiwork.
Applicants from Gabala left UNEC with good impressions.
