Asad Asadli was born on June 17, 1995, in the village of Chaygirag, Masalli. He graduated from the 229th secondary school named after National Hero martyr Yuri Kavalyov in the Nizami district of Baku.
He enrolled in the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) in 2012. In 2016, he was called up for military service, serving as a scout in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for one year. During his military service, he was repeatedly awarded for exemplary service.
During the Tovuz events, he applied to the Mobilization Service to voluntarily join the army. On September 29, he was called up to the army and joined a unit formed in the Shamkir district. After a short training period, the unit was sent to the front line. Throughout the Patriotic War, Asad’s distinguished combat path was marked by many acts of heroism. He gained the admiration and respect of his comrades as a fearless and brave fighter, as well as a loyal friend. One of Asad’s greatest acts of heroism involved the rescue of 21 wounded soldiers from encirclement. During the battles for Khojavend, Asad displayed true heroism by destroying an enemy tank and numerous soldiers, rescuing his comrades from encirclement and death. From the early days of the war, he dealt heavy blows to the enemy in Fuzuli and Khojavend. His last battle was on November 9 for the defense of one of the strategic heights in the Khojavend region. While Asad managed to rescue his comrades from encirclement, he himself was martyred.
He was buried in the II Alley of Martyrs.
After his death, he was posthumously awarded the 3rd degree “For Service to the Motherland” Order, and medals for “For the Motherland,” “For Military Services,” “For the Liberation of Khojavend,” “For the Liberation of Fuzuli,” and “For the Liberation of Jabrayil.”
He was married and had two children.
