UNEC Associate Professor Joins Editorial Board of Hungarian University’s Esteemed Scientific Journal

Dr. Sugra Humbatova, Ph.D. in Economics and Associate Professor, who also serves as Head of the Department of Economics at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), has been appointed to the editorial board of the internationally recognized scientific journal Acta Polytechnica Hungarica. This journal, indexed in the Scopus database within the Q1 category, is published by Obuda University, Hungary, with Dr. Humbatova joining the team for the “Special Issue on Management Studies.”
It should be noted that Dr. Humbatova has an impressive scholarly record with over 100 scientific publications in the field of economics. Of these, 39 research articles are indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus databases, having collectively received 564 citations from researchers and academics worldwide.
In March 2024, as part of the collaborative scientific initiatives between UNEC’s Women Researchers Council and Obuda University, Dr. Humbatova undertook a one-month research project as a visiting professor at Obuda University. During this period, she conducted an in-depth study on the topic of “Analyzing the Green Economy: Comparative Perspectives from Hungary and Azerbaijan.”
