The Graduation Day, which took place in Greece, was attended by UNEC Rector Professor Adalat Muradov, Rector of the University of Western Macedonia Professor Theodoros Theodoulidis, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Greece Arif Mammadov, Advisor to the Minister of Science and Education Nijat Mammadli, Member of the Hellenic Parliament Theofanis Papas, Deputy Governor of Western Macedonia Dimitrios Savvopoulos, Mayor of Kastoria Ioannis Korentsidis, and other officials.
This year, 67 individuals graduated from the joint master’s program, which has been successfully implemented between the two universities for eight years.
Speakers at the event emphasized the significant role of the joint diploma program in “Management and Transportation of Oil and Gas” in strengthening academic, educational, and social relations between the two countries. They noted that the preparation of specialists in a European Union member state not only marks a success for UNEC but also serves as a clear example of the export of Azerbaijan’s higher education services to the European Union.
Following the speeches, a formal oath-taking ceremony for the graduates was held.
