UNEC Team Wins Futsal Tournament
On November 29, the opening ceremony of the 2024/2025 season of the Azerbaijan Student League in futsal took place, featuring teams from various higher education institutions.
The event was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Science and Education, the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan, the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Student Football Federation, as well as members of parliament, university rectors, and veteran football players.
In the first match of the tournament, the team from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) competed against the team from Baku Engineering University. After an engaging and competitive game, UNEC emerged victorious.
UNEC Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov, who was present at the opening ceremony, congratulated the UNEC team on their success and wished them further victories in the competition.
