“Heydar Aliyev: The New Azerbaijan Party is the Party of the Past, Present, and Future”
A commemorative event dedicated to National Leader Heydar Aliyev was jointly organized by the territorial party organization located at “Istiglaliyyat 6” under the NAP Sabail District Organization and the Center for the Study of Heydar Aliyev’s Economic Legacy at UNEC.
The event commenced with a minute of silence to honor the cherished memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s independence and sovereignty.
In his opening address, Chairman of the territorial party organization at “Istiglaliyyat 6” and Vice-Rector for Administrative and Organizational Affairs, Associate Professor Shaig Asgarov, highlighted the historical salvation mission of National Leader Heydar Aliyev for the Azerbaijani people and state. He emphasized that the strategies implemented under Heydar Aliyev’s leadership laid the foundation for the successes achieved in all spheres. Mr. Asgarov noted that the prominent statesman overcame significant challenges facing the nation and rapidly transformed Azerbaijan into a secular, democratic state governed by the rule of law. He further underlined the pivotal role of the New Azerbaijan Party, which has evolved into a nationwide political force. The Party has dutifully fulfilled its responsibilities in advancing Azerbaijan’s political, economic, social, and democratic development, leaving a legacy of historic initiatives and achievements inspired by Heydar Aliyev’s ideas.
Following the opening remarks, senior lecturer at the “Design” Department, Gulchohra Salehzada, delivered a presentation titled “The New Azerbaijan Party: The Party of the Past, Present, and Future.” Additionally, lecturer Narmina Namazova presented on “Heydar Aliyev’s Exceptional Contributions to Azerbaijani Culture.”
