As part of these efforts, approximately 30 UNEC representatives undertook official visits to leading universities in Turkey, Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Latvia, and Lithuania. During these visits, UNEC staff members familiarized themselves with the operational frameworks of the respective institutions and shared best practices from UNEC. These engagements resulted in the identification of new opportunities for collaboration.
Professor Adalat Muradov, Rector of UNEC, convened a meeting with the returning delegates to review the outcomes of these visits. The participants presented detailed reports on the discussions held and agreements reached with the host universities. It was noted that substantial progress had been achieved in areas such as academic exchange programs, dual-degree initiatives, the development of joint academic programs, collaborative research projects, and faculty-student exchanges. Several formal cooperation agreements were signed to solidify these partnerships.
The Rector commended the significant advancements in strengthening UNEC’s international collaborations and underscored the importance of sustaining and expanding these efforts.
The meeting concluded with a comprehensive exchange of ideas regarding future strategies to enhance and deepen cooperative relations with international academic institutions.
