As part of the visit, the Rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov, welcomed the delegation and, together with the council members, honored the memory of fallen students and graduates by visiting the memorial monument complex erected in their remembrance. Subsequently, the delegation was introduced to various academic and research facilities at the university, including the 24/7 library, the Extern Center, the Career Center, the Bloomberg Financial Laboratory, and the hybrid auditorium. A detailed demonstration of the operational principles of student and faculty portals within the UNEC Eduman system was also presented.
Following the university tour, a formal meeting was held between the council members, the rector, and senior representatives of the university’s administration. During the discussions, Rector Adalat Muradov elaborated on the ongoing digital transformation of education and research at UNEC, the advancements in the teaching process, employment opportunities for graduates, the university’s standing in global rankings, and its scientific contributions. Additionally, he outlined UNEC’s strategic initiatives for sustainable development.
Professor Hikmat Alizada, Chairman of the Public Council, expressed his appreciation for the innovative reforms undertaken by UNEC, emphasizing that the institution’s pioneering efforts in digitalizing education play a crucial role in advancing the country’s academic and scientific landscape.
