Radio UNEC celebrates its 1st Birthday
Online radio of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC)- Radio UNEC celebrated one year’s anniversary of its broadcast on September 22.
Congratulating the employees on behalf of UNEC rector, Professor Adalat Muradov, Vice-rector of the University for Student Affairs Saadat Gandilova noted that the radio achieved great success within the short-period of time. She noted being broadcasted with the projects on education, scientific- popular, entertaining and about the university life within the year’s performance, Radio UNEC provided the audience with the information about the latest economic, social, sport and cultural news. Talking about the exceptional role of Radio UNEC in organizing the students’ leisure time more effectively, the participants said that it led to appearance of their creative potential and the formation of oratory skills. It was also noted that the radio began working as a student radio has implemented the broadcasting of the programs of the academic staff and other employees.
The event went on with a video reflecting Radio UNEC’s performance within a year.
Afterwards views on expanding the scope of opinions and improve Radio UNEC’s operation were sounded and the proposals on new radio projects were made.
At the end the authors of the projects who played a special role in the radio’s performance were introduced certificates:
- The Project “NLP master”- Director of the Doctoral Studies Hamid Hamidov
- The Project “Vision”- UNEC Rector’s Assistant Ramil Jabbarov
- The Project “Diskurs.az”- Teacher of UNEC’s International School of Economics Tahmasib Alizade
- The Project “Gunun Trendi”- A third- year undergraduate of SABAH Groups Firengiz Guliyeva and a third- year undergraduate of the School of Commodity Research Sadagat Mammadli
- The Project “Bilmediklerimiz”- A second- year undergraduate of the School of Economics Khayala Yevkiyeva
- The project “Call Student”- A second year undergraduate of the School of Finance Ayten Hasanova and a second- year undergraduate of the International School of Economics Eshgin Jafarov
- The presenter of the “News”- the employee of the Distance, Part- time and Supplementary Education Center Sabina Nuriyeva
