Round table discussions were held at UNEC in collaboration with the World Bank, UNEC’s Nizami Ganjavi Center for Sustainable Development and Green Economy, and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
The event brought together participants from various international organizations, including Sara Michael, the Country Manager of the World Bank for Azerbaijan. Representatives from organizations such as the EU, UNDP, EBRD, USA (Asian Development Bank), SECO, as well as officials from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Economy, NGOs, and other institutions attended the meeting.
During the discussions, World Bank representatives delivered presentations on topics related to economic and production capital, human capital, and natural capital development. They also discussed priorities in local development, the physical impacts of climate change, the global trend toward low emissions, the creation of natural and human capital, and the improvement of living conditions. Additionally, the event provided a platform for addressing climate change priorities.
The session concluded with a Q&A session, where participants had their questions answered and engaged in mutual discussions.
