A training on “No to narcotics and psychotropic substances” was held at the Faculty of Finance and Accounting
Employees of the Psychological
Service Center of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) held a
training for students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting on the topic
“No to narcotics and psychotropic substances”.
The event was opened by Associate
Professor Hafis Hajiyev, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, and
approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr.
Ilham Aliyev dated July 22, 2019, “On the fight against narcotic drugs,
psychotropic substances and their illegal circulation and drug addiction
2019-2024- He said that the State Program for the 2000s is of great importance
in the protection of people’s health, moral values, and the fight against drug
addiction and illegal drug trafficking in our country.
The head of the center, associate
professor Shafahat Abdullayeva, psychologists Marziya Azmammadova and Aysel
Aliyeva spoke and told the students that drug addiction, which is one of the
greatest evils of mankind, has a great impact on the moral and moral values of
society and has a negative impact on socio-economic development. In the
training, it was also brought to attention that drug addiction poses a serious
threat to people’s lives and health and is a factor that leads to the increase
of criminality, and the strategic directions of the state in the field of
illegal circulation of narcotics and psychotropic substances in our country and
the fight against it were determined.
At the end of the training, the
students’ questions were answered.
