Presentation of the Program “Banks in Operation” at ASUE
Presentation and testing related with the beginning of the new stage of “Banks in Operation” program by PASHA Bank and Junior Achievement Azerbaijan was made at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (ASUE) on May 5. Undergraduates of the Schools of Economics and Industry and Finance attended the presentation. The interactive training on Banking and Personal Finance, national competition and the job experience provided by the program will help the students to be efficient consumer and responsible citizen.
20 students selected from all over the republic are to join the trainings on Fundamentals of Banking. The training course will be conducted by Pasha Bank’s and Junior Achievements’ experts. The next stage students will take part in the competition “Banks in Operation” organized on the basis of the computer modeling of JAA and apply the knowledge they have learned. Students will run the virtual bank and make different economic decisions take part in simulation. The best strategy’s author and the team that will gain much profit will be the winner.
At the last stage of the project the students with the highest results will pass internship in the banks.
