ASUE Employees visited Children’s Shelter “Place of Hope”
Members of Women’s Organization of NAP of Sabail district, Chairman of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics Trade Union Committee, Vice- rector of AZEU for Students’ Affairs and the activists of ASUE Women’s Council visited the children in the Children’s shelter “Place of Hope”. The Associate Professor of ASUE, Chairman of the Women’s Organization of NAP of Sabail district Tarana Kerimova spoke about the state care to the children deprived of parental care; she gave detailed information about the attention and care to children’s homes by the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Good Will Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESKO, member of the Parliament Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva in detail. She noted that, the attention focused on underprivileged, deprived of parental care, disabled children and those who are internally displaced as a result of Armenia’s military aggression by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation is a worthy role model for all of us. To visit them is the citizenship duty for each of us.
Vice-rector of ASUE for students’ Affairs Saadat Gandilova was interested in their educational problems and gave her recommendations. S.Gandilova noted that, the necessary measures are taken in succession in the direction of solving their problems promptly.
Then the children’s paintings and handiworks were displayed for the visitors; they sang songs and told poems by heart.
The children were presented gifts by the visitors.
