She was born in Lankaran in a family of intellectuals. In 1999/2004 she graduated from Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a bachelor’s degree in “Economics and management of manufacturing and services” and from masters in 2004/2007 with honors. In 2011, she was assigned as a candidate for a degree in the department of “Enterprise Economics”.
In 2004/2011 she worked as a laboratory assistant at the department of “Enterprise Economics” of Azerbaijan State University of Economics. Since 2011, she has been working as a lecturer at the department of Enterprise Economics of Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
She is currently a senior lecturer at the department of Theoretical and Practical Economics of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
She is the senior mentor of the faculty of Economics on 3rd-year students.
She is the author of a total of 27 scientific articles, teaching methods and monographs. The article was published in the scientific journal SCOPUS. He has spoken at a number of scientific conferences.
S.M. Majidova is an examiner for the exams held by the SEC. She has also been a part-time senior lecturer at LSU since 2016. She was the chairman of the trade union in the department of “Enterprise Economics”.
S.M. Majidova has been a member of the New Azerbaijan Party since 2002.
She is a member of the Yasamal Constituency №16.
