First birthday in heaven: Martyr Eldar Aliyev
February 13 is the birthday of Eldar Aliyev, a graduate of the Turkish World Economics Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (TUDİFAK), a martyr of the Patriotic War, he would have been 27 years old if he had lived.
On the occasion of Eldar Aliyev’s birthday, Dean of the Faculty of Economics Assoc. Asiman Guliyev, director of the Center for Evaluation and Management of the Quality of Education, Assoc. Ragif Gasimov, TUDIFAK Deputy Dean Javahir Mammadova, UNEC Student Union Committee Chairman Rufat Suleymanli and students visited the martyr’s grave. The UNEC team paid tribute to his dear memory by arranging flowers in front of the martyr’s grave.
Later, teachers and students visited the martyr’s family. His mother shared her memories of Eldar and said that she is a friend with him, that she shares every word of her son with his mother. Remembering that Eldar believed that the number 13 was good for him, the mother said that her son was born on the 13th of the month, and he was martyred on the 13th.
The martyr’s sister, Narmin Aliyeva, a graduate of TUDIFAK, said that she eagerly waits for her brother’s birthday every year, welcomes birthday surprises and preparations with great interest and joy.
Then Deputy Dean Ms. Javahir and Eldar’s teacher Rafig Gasimov talked about his student years. They said that E. Aliyev was remembered as an educated, innovative, positive colleague. They emphasized that Eldar is also known as the winner of chess tournaments in the faculty.
In the end, the chairman of UNEC DQATM THIK, Gunay Aghazade, presented a specially prepared memorial gift to the martyr’s family.
