Candid.of Econom. Scien., Assoc. Prof. Karimova Tarana Isa
She has graduated from the faculty of Economics of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
She entered the post-graduate department (full-time) of the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In 1994 she successfully defended her thesis and was awarded the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences.
In the same year she was appointed as a senior lecturer and then an assistant professor at the department of “Price” at Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
She is the author of 9 textbooks, 5 training aids, 2 monographs, methodical instructions, more than 20 educational programs, more than 100 scientific articles.
She has worked as an Associate Professor of the department of “Price and Pricing” , since 2018 has worked as an Associate Professor of the department of “Economics and Management of the Social Sphere”.
She is currently the deputy director of the Center for Distant, correspondence and additional education of UNEC.
She is the chairwoman of the Sabail District Women’s Council. Since 2000 she has been the chairman of the Women’s Council of Azerbaijan State Economic University.
In 2007 she was awarded the Gold Medal of the Russian International Peace Fund for Charity and Peace.
She is married and has 3 children.
