Ali Amirli: “UNEC students made us live those moments again “
The premiere of play “A train without a destination” was held staged by students of Azerbaijan State Economic University (UNEC) on the 27th anniversary of Khojaly genocide.
At the premiere of the performance staged at the Azerbaijan State Theater of Young Spectators, the rector of UNEC, professor Adalat Muradov and student-teacher staff of the university, as well as MPs, Karabakh veterans, members of the UNEC Public Supervisory Board and other guests attended the event.
A performance by UNEC Creative Center based on the same piece of work by the Honored Art Worker, writer, screenwriter and playwright Ali Amirli tells about the tragedies the Armenians have caused to our people and expulsion of peaceful people from their homeland, their hometowns.
Speaking after the performance, the rector Adalat Muradov praised the creative work of the students, expressing their professionalism. The rector described the performance as a confession in front of the victims of the Khojaly genocide, the martyrs of Karabakh, noting that their innocent bloods would not remain on the ground. A. Muradov expressed confidence that the occupied territories will be liberated under the leadership of the Head of State, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan will be ensured soon.
The author of the work, Ali Amirli, thanked everyone who contributed to the performance. Speaking about the importance of each educational institution for art, culture and literature, Ali Amirli said that UNEC is among the leading universities and has formed a positive image. Stating that the performance has been devoted to the 27th anniversary of the Khojaly tragedy, the writer-dramatist told that the students could remind the spectators of the tragedy once more and made them live that moment again with the scenes performed with high professionalism.
It must be noted that producer-director of the perfomace is Vakhid Orujoglu, the director is the head of UNEC Creative Center Elman Telmanoglu. The roles were performed by members of the UNEC Creative Center drama community, Ilham Guliyev, Sona Guliyeva, Yasin Akhmadov, Nijat Tarverdiev, Rashad Aslanov, Minaya Huseynova, Marva Mammadova, Nigar Agayeva, Gulnur Imanova, Narmin Zeynalli, Narmin Qarchueva, Heyran Mekhdiyeva, Sevinj Guliyeva and student Ayan Mirzazade.
