Aliyev Khalig Afsar
He was born on the 5th of July in 1978.
In 1995-2001 he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Journalism at Baku State University.
He has been working since 2000. He worked as a correspondent in the journal “Tafakkur”, in 2001-2003 as an editor at “Tafakkur” Publishing and Printing Center, deputy director and director.
He served in the Defense Ministry’s military unit as a reserve officer from 2004 to 2005. In 2005 he was discharged from the army in the rank of Chief Lieutenant.
In 2005-2019, he served as broadcast editor, editor, chief of Regional news group and chief editor at Lider TV News Service.
From November 18, 2019 to March 2020, he worked as Director of the Marketing and Communications Department of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC)
Married, has two children.
