Innovations in the field of creative industry and design are discussed at the science festival
A scientific seminar on “Creative industry and design: at the intersection of art and technology” has been held within the framework of the science festival, organized by the UNEC School of Design.
The academic staff of the Design department and students took part in the event, which was moderated by the director of the UNEC School of Design, Assoc. Professor Lala Mammadova.
The director of the department of organization and management of the scientific activity, professor Zahid Mammadov spoke about the scientific achievements of the university and the steps taken for the successful organization of scientific activity. He also noted that the role of design is necessary for correctly determining the goals of economic development.
At the event, the teachers of the department of Design made interesting presentations on the topic. Gulchohra Salehzade gave information about the intersection of art and technology in the fashion industry, the emergence, development, areas of use, and the main reasons for the popularity of the futuristic style. Parvin Namazova spoke about innovative innovations in the textile industry. She emphasized the economic importance of nanotechnologies, one of the latest innovations in the field of textiles, during fabric production in textile factories. At the same time, she shared the fabric samples he made during her experience with the participants of the event.
