The department of Elmmetrix
The Department of Elmmetrix, a structural unit of the department of Organization and Management of Scientific Activity (OMSA) of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), was established by the order of the rector of UNEC No. 828/3/2018. The activity of the department is to study the dynamics and structure of the flow of scientific information and arrays. The main objectives of the department are to increase, systematize, monitor and support the publication activity and references of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and its representatives, to stimulate publishing opportunities in scientific collections indexed in international databases.
AZERBAIJAN STATE UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS (UNEC) – ACADEMIC PROFILES
OBJECTIVES AND TASKS OF THE SECTION:
*Supporting the academic staff of the university and representatives to increase publishing activity;
*Systematization and monitoring of the references of the academic staff of the university, publication activity;
*Control over quantitative and qualitative indicators of the university (UNEC) reference in authoritative scientific bases;
*Preparation of informative information in order to increase the level of scientific-research work carried out at the University and to increase the scientific-research activity of the academic staff;
*To expand scientific cooperation with authoritative international scientific bases, to achieve application of modern scientific and technical innovations at the university;
*Establishing cooperation with the editorial staffs of journals indexed in international databases;
*Increasing the intensity and number of publication of the results of the research work of the teaching staff of the university in journals indexed in international databases;
*Creation and formation of information database on scientific publications of the academic and scientific staff of the University;
*Creating opportunities for the publication of articles in prestigious scientific journals, stimulating the publishing activity of the academic staff of UNEC;
*Organization of scientific conferences indexed in conference proceeding international databases;
*Preparation and submission of analytical data and reports on the activities of the University on scientific indicators to the management of the higher education institution, the Ministry of Education and the relevant structural units;
*Providing information consulting services on the publication of articles of university employees in journals and conference proceedings indexed in international databases and profiles in databases;
*Involvement of UNEC representatives in trainings organized by international scientific organizations;
*Preparation of publication dynamics by representatives of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) on international bases over the years.
