Within this work package, activities will focus on integrating entrepreneurship development into the strategic plans of higher education institutions, training academic staff in the field, organizing entrepreneurship as an elective subject for all disciplines regardless of specialization, and addressing topics such as the concept of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship financing, and social entrepreneurship. Trainings will be held in Baku, Ganja, Nakhchivan, and Mingachevir, and special training sessions for enhancing female entrepreneurship will be organized, with a target of involving at least 500 students.
On May 27, 2024, as part of the 4th activity plan, a training program titled “Enhancing Higher Education” began at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden for the academic staff of partner universities in the field of entrepreneurship.
Representatives from the member universities of the project consortium participated in the 5-day business trip from May 27 to May 31.
During the training program, participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with strategies for improving the quality of education at both organizational and subject levels, the importance of training academic staff to develop teaching and practical skills, integrating sustainable development goals and entrepreneurship skills into education, utilizing digital technologies, using effective teaching practices for developing students’ professional skills, and exploring methods for improving training outcomes.
Discussions were held on these topics, and team projects were presented.
At the end of the training, participants were awarded certificates by KTH University.
