International experts of FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) international accreditation body met with the rector of UNEC Professor Adalat Muradov.
At the meeting, prof. Adalat Muradov stated that in the “UNEC-100” Development Strategy, all educational programs at UNEC are targeted for international accreditation by 2030. The Rector drew attention to the importance of international accreditation in terms of improving the quality of education at UNEC and ensuring the competitiveness of students and graduates in the international labor market. He also said that it will play an important role in strengthening UNEC’s leading position in the field of education, expanding its international relations, and increasing its reputation in the region and the world.
FIBAA project manager, head of the expert group Dr. Birger Henrik shared his initial impressions about the meetings and information presented during the two-day visit to UNEC. The official of FIBAA highly appreciated the use of UNEC’s Bloomberg Finance laboratory in the educational process, the efficient organization of university-industry relations, and teaching in 4 languages. He also emphasized the creation of the Digital UNEC model as a progressive step in the field of higher education by completely digitalizing the educational process, document circulation, and quality assurance system. Dr. Birger Henrik pointed out that the identification of qualifications accreditation as a strategic goal in UNEC’s internationalization is an important factor, and noted that this step will play an important role in UNEC’s entry into the TOP 500 world universities. He pointed out that work in this direction is being carried out successfully at UNEC.
