The Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan attended the Opening of the Winter School of UNEC
Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) has started the winter school organized for the academic staff of the University on February 3. The official opening ceremony of the school was attended by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan Madam Aurelia Bouchez
UNEC Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov noted that the winter school organized to improve the educators’ scientific- pedagogical knowledge, to develop modern teaching skills is realized at the initiative of the Ministry of Education Mikayil Jabbarov. According to him, the training started today is dedicated to “Interactive Training in University Educations”. 100 of UNEC instructors attend the training conducted by the Professor of Paris Sorbonne University- Abu Dhabi FlorentPratlong.
The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan Madam Aurelia Bouchez expressed the satisfaction of becoming familiar with UNEC. Speaking about the education sector of France, the Ambassador spoke about the positive sites of benefitting from the experience of one of the prestigious universities of the world like Paris Sorbonne University.
The winter school was told to be sustainable during the event. In the next stage of the training the Professor of Uludagh University of Turkey Erjan Dulgeroghlu will train 30 instructors of UNEC. In addition, 15 Professors of UNEC were sent to a business tour to Turkey to get acquainted with the education system of Turkey closely. At the same time, the Model Classes have also started at UNEC. UNEC Professors and Heads of Departments share their experiences with the young teaching staff members and the employees of the University within the Model Classes.
