“Green Economy Week” is held at UNEC
On June 5, in celebration of World Environment Day, UNEC’s N. Ganjavi Center for Sustainable Development and Green Economy declared June 6-10 as “Green Economy Week.”
During this week, several distinguished individuals will make presentations and provide information about the activities of their respective institutions related to the green economy. The list of speakers includes Sabuhi Babayev, Head of the Environmental and Labor Protection Department of Tamiz Shaher OJSC; Jabrayil Aliyev, Deputy Director of the Project Implementation and Monitoring Department of the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources; the Head of the Water Resources Use Regulation Sector of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources; Faig Mutallimov, the national coordinator of the EU4Environment project; Eldeniz Amirov, the head of the Regional Projects and Monitoring Department of KOBIA; and Vugar Mammadzade, the head of the Department of Passenger Transportation Regulation of the Baku Transport Agency. Their presentations aim to inform and raise awareness about the green economy and related activities.
