She was born in 1966 in Baku.
In 1988, she graduated from Azerbaijan Institute of National Economy named after D. Bunyadzade (now Azerbaijan State University of Economics) with honours with a degree in “Labor Economics and Sociology” and was sent to graduate school of the Leningrad Institute of Finance and Economics.
In 1991, she defended her thesis at the Leningrad Institute of Finance and Economics, was awarded the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences and was appointed a lecturer at the department of ” Economics and Organization of Labour” of Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
In 1995, she became a senior lecturer at the same department, and in 2000 she became an associate professor.
She is the author of 58 scientific and methodical works.
In 2006, she conducted a sociological survey at job fairs held in all regions of the country through the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
In 2008, she took a refresher course on “Labor Economics” at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and received a diploma.
On October 6, 2017, she was awarded the “Honorary Decree” of UNEC for long-term fruitful scientific and pedagogical activities.
She has become an associate professor of the “Management” department of UNEC.
She is currently an associate professor at the department of Economics of UNEC Russian School of Economics.
