Candidate of Economic Sciences, Asssistant Professor, Mammadov Muzaffar Gulu
He was born on December 20, 1947 in Ganza village of Ordubad region of Nakhchivan AR.
In 1965 he entered Azerbaijan State University.
In 1969 he graduated from Azerbaijan State Institute of National Economy named D.Bunyadzadeh (now Azerbaijan State University of Economics) in the world economy.
In 1980, he was awarded the medal of “Active Work in Student Groups” of the All-Union Lenin Communist Youth Union.
He has been working at the University of Economics since 1969. Since 2004 he has been an associate professor of the department of “IER” .
He is currently an associate professor at the UNEC Department of “International Economics”.
In 2004 he defended his dissertation and received the title of candidate of economic sciences. He was awarded the title of associate professor by the decision of the HAC under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 27, 2007.

On September 25, 2006, he was awarded “ Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev” prize.
By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 1430 dated April 24, 2006, he was awarded the honorary title of “Honored Teacher” of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On November 24, 2007 he was awarded the prize of “Golden Pen”
He was awarded the European Order of “Honor and Dignity” by the UN Council of Public Awards Decision No. 172 of 15 December 2009 for his great services in the field of education and science.
