The Islam and Azerbaijan
A lecture dedicated to the “Islamic Solidarity Year” has been conducted for SABAH Groups of UNEC.
A Professor of the Department of “Humanitarian Studies” Abbas Seyidov and an Assistant Professor Humeyra Mustafayeva lectured on “The Islam and Azerbaijan”. UNEC scholars delivered the information about the history of the Islam religion, moral values and its impact to Azerbaijan culture. They said that the representatives of different nations and religion live in our country in peace, mutual respect and solidarity. Bringing to attention the religion to play a significant role in building political, economic and cultural relations, the scientists appreciated the announcement of 2017 the “Islamic Solidarity Year” in Azerbaijan highly. They stressed the IV Islamic Solidarity Games to make contributions in the promotion of Islamic values, fraternity and unity in our country.
