Deputy Minister of Finance of Laos visited the University she graduated from
The delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Finance of People’s Democratic Republic of Laos Thipphakone Chanthavongsa visited Azerbaijan State University of Economics within their trip to Azerbaijan related with the Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank’s Board of Directors. Mr. Thipphakone who studied at ASUE in 1981-1985ss on Finance expressed her gratitude for the hospitality provided.
Vice-rector of ASUE for International Relations and Programs Shahin Bayramov spoke to our guest about the innovations implemented in the university. Sh.Bayramov delivered information about the affairs done in the direction of strengthening the international relation of the higher education institution. He also emphasized Mr. Thipphakone’s visit to native university after 30 years’ interval as the case of proud.
Mr. Tipphakone spoke about her university memories after she presented the delegation headed. She mentioned that always remembers her groupmates and the teaching staff and whishes to meet them again. The guests highlighted the country’s speedy development and shared their impressions. It was also noted that the modernization of the city is successfully implemented on a historical back-ground.
