Event on the occasion of the International Teachers’ Day was held at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) on October 5.

Started his speech by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s idea “I don’t know the name higher than the teacher” UNEC’s Rector, Dr. Adalat Muradov spoke about the reforms implemented in our country’s national education system and gained achievements. He noted that, Azerbaijani science and education successfully continued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev develops on the basis of the international experience. Congratulating UNEC teachers, rector said special state care and attention provided to the profession of teacher makes the employees working in this area enthusiastic. Head of the Department “Economy and Organization of Labor” Tofig Guliyev noted the education is one of the key contributors to the sustainable development of education in the community. He said the most glorious and sacred position in this direction is the teacher.

The consultant- professor of the Department “Azerbaijan Language” Maarife Haciyeva spoke about the innovations applied and the attention paid to teachers at UNEC.
