My martyr, Boyukaga Shahverdiyev, who celebrated his 23rd birthday in heaven
June 15 is the birthday of the graduate of the Faculty of Economics of UNEC, the martyr of the Patriotic War, Buyukaga Shahverdiyev, he would have been 23 years old if he had lived.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics, associate professor Asiman Guliyev, chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee Rufat Suleymanli and students visited the grave of the martyr on the occasion of the birthday of Buyukaga Shahverdiyev. The UNEC team paid tribute to his dear memory by arranging flowers in front of the martyr’s grave. Then the martyr’s family was visited. The UNEC family met with the martyr’s mother and listened to the memories of Boyukaga’s childhood and youth. His mother said that Buyukagan loved his homeland with all his heart, and the slogan “Karabakh, Jabrayl, the homeland is indivisible, martyrs do not die” was his life motto. After graduating in 2019, he joined the Patriotic War, which started on September 27, 2020. Jabrayil participated in the battles for the liberation of Fuzuli. Buyukaga Shahverdiyev was heroically martyred in the battles for Fuzuli region on October 8. After his death, he was awarded the “For the Fatherland” and “For the Liberation of Jabrayil” medals.
In the end, the UNEC staff presented a specially prepared gift to the martyr’s parents.
