In the meeting held with the participation of the rector of UNEC Professor Adalat Muradov and the heads of relevant structures, discussions were held on higher education, sustainable development, and the green economy.
Rector Adalat Muradov gave detailed information to the Uzbek delegation about the electronic capabilities of the Digital UNEC, distance and hybrid education, electronic library, and the activities of the Center for Sustainable Development and Green Economy named after Nizami Ganjavi. Akmal Saidov, the first deputy speaker of the Chamber, highly appreciated the electronic university model of UNEC and emphasized the necessity of applying this practice in Uzbekistan’s higher education institutions.
At the meeting, a preliminary agreement was reached on organizing joint conferences and conducting research in the field of green economy and sustainable development.
In the end, the book “Exploring The Green Economy: ISSUES, Challenges and Benefits” published by UNEC in English was presented to Akmal Saidov.
