UNEC Students’ new Initiatives were appreciated by the Rector
Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), Dr. Adalat Muradov held the first reception day of a new academic year for the students on October 6. Students’ proposals were heard and appreciated during the meeting.
Student- rector Javanshir Asadov, Chairman of the Academy of Young Economists Hidayat Kerimov and Chairman of the Public Union “Support to Economist Youth” represented their new projects. The Student Organizations’ Chairmen’s initiatives were welcomed by the rector and he gave appropriate instructions on their execution. Rector, Adalat Muradav said the students will always be supported for the intellectual and efficient organization of the university life. Organization of inter- university competitions and the initiative to hold the First UNEC Student Sports Games were of great interest. Relevant instructions on preparing proposals for the organization of the two projects were given by the Rector.
A fourth- year undergraduate student of UNEC Nadir Khalilov’s project “Green Economy” was also welcomed and recommendations on its improvement were heard.
Note: The “Open Day” of UNEC is held the first Saturday of each month. Rector receives the students and parents every Tuesday (01pm- 02pm) and the employees every Friday (02pm- 04pm).
