In the Global Innovation Index, UNEC is the country’s most innovative university

In the 2023 Global Innovation Index report of the Geneva Headquarters of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) regarding Azerbaijan, UNEC was registered as the most innovative university in the country (TOP Performers in Innovation).
The Global Innovation Index (GII) ranks the world’s economies according to their capacity for innovation. The Geneva report mainly contained information about the innovation environment, business-university cooperation, and entrepreneurial activity in Azerbaijan. In the report on Azerbaijan, two universities (UNEC, BSU) that apply innovation in the country in a high and successful manner were recorded.
WIPO referred to the indicators of QS rating in the activity of UNEC.
