Rector Adalat Muradov emphasized that enhancing UNEC’s position in international rankings is one of the university’s key strategic goals. He highlighted recent innovations and achievements in this regard.
Ben Sowter provided insights into the critical factors and criteria that universities should focus on to improve their ranking positions. He noted that academic reputation, employer reputation, international collaboration, and scientific activity are among the primary factors considered in the rankings.
Subsequent discussions centered on the main criteria and methodologies of the QS rankings, underlining the importance of ensuring access to university data and reports.
Following the discussions, Rector Adalat Muradov and Ben Sowter signed an agreement for UNEC to join the Future17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Program.
The QS delegation also visited UNEC’s Bloomberg Financial Laboratory, examination and reading halls, and the External Center.
