The founder of the “Human-computer interaction” laboratory, professor of METU Dr Kursat Cagıltay made a report on “Human-computer interaction in the digital economy”, Executive Director of Chatham House Digital Society Initiative, Marjorie Buchser made a report on «Digital Sovereignty and National Infrastructure». Founder and managing partner of European Digital & Sourcing Consultancy (LT), Chairman of the Working Group on eLogistics & DTC in the Eastern Partnership countries and eTrade expert on World Bank projects Dr Valery Virkovsky made a report on “Digitalization of international supply chains: trends and modern approaches”, Director General of the Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, head of the Department of Digital Technologies and Applied Informatics of UNEC, Academician Ali Abbasov made a report on “The role of artificial intelligence in the digital transformation of the Azerbaijani economy and development prospects”.
On April 29, II International Conference “Digital Economy: Modern Challenges and Real Opportunities” continued its work in 8 sections. Key issues like the main issues facing global economic growth, high-tech production ecosystem, digital economy transformation, green economy and sustainable development, economic challenges of the post-pandemic period, post-pandemic business transformation and review of the past and future of Azerbaijan’s economy, opportunities and priorities for the use of digital technologies in the process of recovery and development of the Karabakh economy have been discussed in section meetings.
The international conference has successfully completed its work.
