The Higher School of Economics of Russia held an Olympiad at ASUE
The Higher School of Economics of Russia held an Olympiad at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics on February 14-15.
Rector of ASUE, Professor Adalat Muradov and Head of the Ministry of Education Sector Sulheddin Gozalov took part at the opening of the Olympiad. It was noted that the Olympiad was being held in 36 cities of 12 countries at the same time (especially CIS and Baltic countries) among the citizens and graduates of foreign countries students who require gettingthe graduate education at the HSE. Winners and awardees will get the right of getting the graduate education at the HSE free of charge and receiving the Scholarship.
50 students from Azerbaijan joined the Olympiad which was attended by 3510 people. 45 of them are ASUE’s students. The Olympiad mainly covered Economics, Management, Finance, World Economy, Business and Informatics, Mathematics, State Management, Electronics, Psychology.
The Professor of the HSE, Professor M. Plotnikov who had visited Baku to hold the Olympiad conducted Master-Class to the teaching and students staffs of ASUE.
Note: Appropriate measures are implemented in the direction of developing the cooperation between ASUE and the Higher School of Economics of Russia. Currently, the job on potential cooperation on specific areas between the two Universities and the project reflecting these areas are being prepared.
