Head of SABAH Executive Committee met with UNEC’s SABAH Students
Head of the Ministry of Education SABAH Executive Committee Shahin Seyidzade met with the students studying in SABAH Groups of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC on October 10. Vice- rector of UNEC for Students’ Affairs Saadat Gandilova congratulated the newly enrolled students of SABAH and wished them success. Noting the SABAH as a great chance for the students, Vice- rector urged them to take this chance maximally.
Head of SABAH Executive Committee Shahin Seyidzade congratulated the second- year students and welcomed them in “SABAH family”. He delivered detailed information about the new rules of the student admission to SABAH groups, advantages of studying in these groups and the achievements gained by the students. Talking about the teaching process Shahin Seyidzade stressed the SABAH groups as the progressive and significant project. He said being the project of new development direction SABAH is a chain of groups consisting of Educated, Skilled and Organized students of higher schools by the Ministry of Education to improve the quality of higher education, to provide the development of personnel meeting the modern requirements and to create new environment in higher education system. The main objective of SABAH Project is to create necessary environment for the implementation of sustainable, durable, comprehensive and detailed quality changes, to support Azerbaijani youths’ individual and professional development, to establish ties with the world’s prestigious universities, to expand scientific- research, experience and student exchanges and to develop educated, skilled and organized specialists meeting the requirements of the labor market. SABAH’s targets are innovative teaching methodologies in education, changing and updating education environment, development and stimulation of educators and the expansion and integration of academic and business environments.
S.Seyidzade highly appreciated SABAH students’ participation in the country’s social life. He also added that SABAH students develop their start- up project successfully. The students of high courses were informed about the exchange programs and winter school in detail.
