The results of the Project “Quality of Teaching through the Students’ Eyes” on the month of December have been revealed at UNEC. 1646 students took part in the forum held via “Google” online. Questions on teachers’ arrival and start of the lesson, explaining clear and accurate, assistance to students after the classes, creating condition for student’s active participation, compatibility of the course conducted with exam tests, the objectivity of the students’ assessment by the teacher, checking students’ attendance within the first 15 minutes by the teacher and other issues have been responded positively.
We introduce the last results:
- Arrival and start of the lesson on time: 91%- 10 points; 2%- 1 point
- Explaining the lesson clearly:77,9%- 10 point; 6%- 1 point
- Optimum level of use lesson duration: 89%- yes; 6%- no
- Teacher uses real examples in explaining the lesson and involves all the students by different methods: 76.5%- yes; 12%-no
- I think I can succeed in the exams even if don not listen to the lesson: 36.6%- yea; 67%- no
- Teacher checks the attendance within the first 15minutes in the e- register: 94.4%-yes; 2.5%-no
- The ability to use the interactive teaching methods: 59.2%-10 points; 5.2%- 1 point
- Individual approach to students: 61.1%- 10points: 5%-1 point
- Assistance to students outside the lesson: 58.7%- 10 points; 6%- 1 point
- Creation of the condition for students to take active part: 60.9%- 10 points; 5.5%- 1 point
- The given bibliography is available: 82%- yes; 5.2%-no
- The taught lessons are consistent with the exam questions: 84.7%- yes; 4%- no
- Students are assessed objectively by the teacher: 77.5- yes; 7%- no
- I would have recommended the teacher’s lesson to others: 89%- yes; 9%- no
