Students are entitled to familiarize themselves with the regulations pertaining to the application of the credit system in higher education institutions and the normative documents governing the organization of the educational process.
Students are required to establish their individual study plans in compliance with the “Rules for the Organization of Education Based on the Credit System at the Bachelor’s and Master’s Levels in Higher Education Institutions, Basic (Undergraduate) Medical Education, and the Master’s Level of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences,” approved by Decision No. 348 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated December 24, 2013.
Throughout their studies, students are obligated to adhere strictly to their individual study plans and to fully master the courses offered as part of their education.

In the event of a violation of the internal disciplinary rules of the higher education institution, students are subject to disciplinary measures in accordance with the relevant regulations.
Students are permitted to select and attend a particular course on a paid basis an unlimited number of times.
Students may, on a paid basis, choose and attend courses from the curricula of other specialties or specializations offered at the university without any restrictions.
Students who fail to accumulate the required credits within the timeframe stipulated by the State Education Standards are not expelled from the university. Instead, they may continue their education on a paid basis while remaining on the university’s student register. However, under such circumstances, students forfeit all associated privileges, including deferment from military service, state-funded education, scholarships, and similar benefits.
